Yeah, you know, Toys. No not those toys you perverts. But the old action figures and trucks and building blocks you played as a kid. But that's the past, old childish stuff. But I have two questions for the escapist. Do you still have and fiddle with any toys? The next is have you bought any toys as of late? I mean it's a fair assumption you guys on this site play video game and probably someone is going to say they got a Issac Clark figure or Big Daddy, and that's fine they are toys, but have you gotten any non-video game related toys.

The reason why I ask is I was at Target Sunday and as I was browsing around I saw they had a Price of Persia movie figure and a Halo DARE agent (which I assume is from ODST which I haven't played yet) feeling like a kid again, I bought both and now wonder if that was extremely awkward for my 17 year old self to rather buy something deemed childish or if there are others that do the same.

oh EDIT I didn't want to add a poll because I believe everyone is entitled to a unique opinion that they should explain rather then me force people to choose either: yes I do buy toys/no that was a bad thing to do and you should feel bad

I don't play with toys any more, and I haven't bought one for myself in quite a long time. The closest thing I've purchased it the collector's edition of Resistance 2 that came with a Chimera action figure, but I'm certainly not going to play with it.

I haven't bought a toy in quite a while. I occasionally will pick up an old bionicle toy from when I was like seven and re-assemble it, but that's about it.

PS: Bionicles were the shit!

Hmm, do you fiddle with it? Leave it in it's box? Pose it once and leave it alone?

That I don't. Closest I come is arranging my Type-Moon and Haruhi Suzumiya character figures around the room.

I just put the gun on it and attached it to the stand that came with it. It's now on my games bookshelf.

Sometimes when I'm really really bored or there's a power out, I regret donating my massive collection of Legos.

I have the 2 rare set of American McGee's Alice & Cheshire figures; the Bloody Alice set & the Glowing Chesire set. The rest of my figurines are from Batman TAS or NECA figurines of Snape, Jarith, & Alucard (the Castlevania one). I call them "figures/figurines/statuettes because no playing is actually involved, just decorations.

Not anymore. Back then I played around with BIONICLE sets A LOT! Those were freaking amazing! I was a huge fan of those toys up until the stupid Metru Nui stuff started coming out and then the plot line just lost its edge. I mean the Bohrok were a cool twist, and the Rakshi were nice but after that the story was lame because it already came full circle with the binding of Makuta and Mata Nui. (God I'm a nerd) I still have a huge tub full of all of my lego technic stuff and I like to make my own heroes and villains now. :)

No, and no.
I swore if I ever had a daughter she'd play with boys toys.
Me too, I don't like the idea of getting boys and girls gender specific toys. If she wants a doll, sure. She wants a truck, why not?

I have a Yuffie figurine that I bought, and I occasionally take her down to fiddle with her and change the position she was in.
