Always loved Victor. He's a perfect gothic villain; cold, cruel, and a monster... but you can sympathize with him and even feel bad for having to stop him.

Shit, will this game actually have good boss fights? Seriously, that's all that was missing from the first game, and this looks incredible. Can't wait.

Batman: Arkham City is SUPPOSED to have every single Batman villian and ally in it, I'll explain the plot summary...

The story for Arkham City takes place about one year after the events of Arkham Asylum. Quincy Sharp, former warden of Arkham Asylum, has taken credit for stopping the Joker, and used the notoriety to become mayor of Gotham City. As neither Arkham nor Blackgate Prison are in any condition to detain inmates, Sharp buys out a large section of Gotham's slums and arms the perimeter with private military contractors from a group called Tyger in order to create "Arkham City". The prisoners are brought into Arkham City and are given free rein, as long as they do not attempt escape. To oversee the city, Sharp hires psychiatrist Hugo Strange who appears to have his own secret agenda for the city. Batman maintains a vigil over the city, worried that the situation may get out of hand. Part of the setup for "Arkham City" was contained in plans in a hidden room in Sharp's office in Arkham Asylum.

Seriously I took that from Wikipedia word-for-word, PLEASE stop acting like seeing another Batman villian in the game is SO SURPRISING. What is actually Surprising/Amazing/Awesome is how thier using and creating the villians in the Arkham City to interact and be a force to reckon with. Not only making good fighting gameplay, but also showing Batman and the world around him develop as a charater; and not some cartoon villian cliche that a man in a bat costume and go POW! and WHAP! quickly and then a hankshake, "Thanks again for doing our job". I know that's harsh, but come on it's 2011; we need better/more plot complexity.

When you make a crazy house, don't be surprised when it contains crazy people. Expand that to a city and don't be surprised when everyone is crazy. I wonder who's next on the chopping block?

Ice to meet you.
Cool party.
Chill out bird boy.

Sorry had to get those out of my system.

Now that that's out of the way...

The Joker. Two-Face. The Penguin. The Riddler. Hugo Strange. Bane as an ally. Catwoman as a playable character. And now Mr. Freeze.

If they an deliver on all the awesomeness that they are promising in this game, it will be the best game of the year, hands down. Heck, there's a chance that it might be better than Mass Effect 3. Coming from me, that's saying a lot.
What do you mean Bane is an ally?

You have no idea how excited I am for this.

I hope it isn't awful, but then again, if it's like the first one, it'll be brilliant.

For everbody complaining about the voice actor...

... it is The Brain. :)
He better do an Orsen Welles impression at one point.

I liked the voice. And he looks like a formidable villain. Nice to see one that can't be beaten by the old "baterang to the face, and dodge out of the way" tactics.

Just that. There was a short article (on this very site, I believe) that discussed a few screenshots from the game that were recently released. One of them showed Batman and Bane, back-to-enormous back, surrounded by goons, ready to kick some ass.

I'm looking forward to that level. I don't know why they start working together, but I'm confident that it'll be awesome.

I'm gonna be honest... I have no idea who that is.
