as much as i like COD, this just looks more like an expension, a few extra weapons and killstreak awards. Thats the problem with releasing them so often, they could of at least upgraded the graphics alittle, or updated some of the sounds.

This gave us a lot more info than the 'lol you get an mg a shotgun and a sniper rifle' BF3 trailer that just came out. No shit, we get a machine gun a shotgun and a sniper rifle in an FPS? You don't say ;p

And it's almost like it had a plot. Some guy's quest to kill a camper. He no scopes him. It's awesome.

Wait, this is DLC for Modern Warfare 2, right? I mean, it looks a lot like MW2, right? They just changed it up a little, right? I mean, they don't expect me to pay $60 for what looks like some minor changes, do they?

Oh wait, they do? Huh...

Yeah, forgetting my normal dislike for CoD, in a theoretical situation where this was a sequel to a game I was very fond of.... I would still be majorly disappointed with just how little the graphics changed.
I mean, really?
It is like Skyrim, when the screenshots first started coming out for that, they strongly resembled Oblivion, enough that for a bit I was like "Aw, c'mon, really? are they seriously just going to clone Oblivion for the next game?" though since then I've seen enough to know otherwise, I guess my point is just this,
I have no problem with yearly releases, if you can do it more power to you, but I DO expect and hope that each release would be significantly different. Not asking it to be better, since sometimes that falls into the preference of the gamer (for instance I'd say everything after CoD4 was a downhill fall, but I imagine some would argue the opposite.) But update the graphics a bit at least, so that even if you really are just cashing in on doing the "same stuff that works" you can at the very least deceive me that it is different by the visuals. But honestly.... it looks identical. In gameplay, in graphics, in style. Just a couple new guns n' stuff really.
Yes, I haven't ever been a fan of the recent CoD games, and you can go ahead and dismiss this for that fact if you want, but I often do purchase CoD games to play splitscreen with my buddies (call me oldschool, I prefer to sit beside the guy who camps me so I can smack him the head when he does that.) so I would like to see improvements enough to give me a reason to consider if I'd purchase this to play with friends or not.
But so far... just looks like more of the same. I'll stick with the games I've already bought.

The games graphics actually seem improved, and I haven't heard anything about that skill pack crap or whatever, like support and specialist.
Though at parts it just seemed like Crysis 2 with the nanosuit removed... Hell, that basically is Crysis 2, giving me this nanosuit2.0 crap.

The new stuff seems cool as well.
I might just buy this.

Wow... this looks exactly like every Call of Duty ever made since CoD4. Completely makes me want to go waste $60 on it. >_>

Bit of lazy textures there, especially on that van (recycled from MW2)
Looks sort of exactly the same buuuut...
The killstreaks look nice, so does the equipment and the perks.
They look stealthy!

As long as they don't proclaim to bring us a realistic shooter experience I won't punch puppies.

Seems incredibly dramatic for a multiplayer trailer, especially when the music really starts swelling in the second half.

I'm probably through with MW so don't plan to pick this game up but some of the equipment/killstreaks in the trailer look quite neat. I'm liking the turret-like device that, form what I can see, seems to be able to prematurely detonate incoming rockets. Also, the explosive decoy - I didn't see what happened with that but I'm guessing it's meant to be a fake care package of sorts that'll explode when an enemy tries to nab it.

But yeh, it doesn't really look that much different from MW2 graphically. So far, the map(s) on show here don't look to be particularly inspiring.

Well, at least they had the decency of calling it number 3 rather than making a whole new title with the same shit.

This game looks exciting but gives me no insight to how much gameplay mechanics and interface have improved, if at all. I'm not convinced for now, and will stick to my elitist "arthouse" games until I play it at a friends house and find out it's actually good. If Activision wants this ass, it's going to have to work for it.

I'm not seeing much new here except a couple different perks, and a couple truly irritating looking items. Those proximity mines look like they're going to cause substantial amounts of hair loss. (It's like a claymore... but there's no safe 270 degrees! They could be anywhere!)

Also, big shoutout to them for including the thing I hated most as the big focus of the trailer: you will be sniped. There will always be large numbers of people with sniper rifles on the map, and there's still going to be fuckall you can do to avoid dying to them.

I never bothered to get BLOPS, I doubt this installment will wow me back to the series.

Was thinking the same thing "doesn't matter how op your weapons seem to be, you'll never beat an sniper"

Seems fun, but can't deny its the same crap they've been releasing since CoD 4, but 2 new things.
