Is it just me... or did that look awful...?

Along with the total redesign of their aliens...
I thought so too. I mean, come on, UT3 has better graphics than this.

Not only that, but the gameplay's bound to suck too. I'm not buying this game.

That actually looks quite good. looks like a linear and first person version of a Crackdown.

At least now I know why most companies don't want to release demoes anymore. After playing the demo I'm not taking this game seriously anymore, no matter how much hype they throw at me...

Looks... fun.

Now someone tell me what the song is called and I'll be a happy Taffer. Not even the youtube comments have led me anywhere (yet).

I have told you on Steam obviously but for anyone else that wants it:

Also, I like the look of this a lot, especially since we seem to be thrown straight into it, I found the first parts of Crysis very repetitive.

It looks like a great shooting game, but ONLY a great shooting game - the trailer is two minutes of blowing stuff up, with the plot essentially sidelined by explosions and bullets.
Wait theres plot? In MY generic errrr "great" FPS? D :

Oh my good lord SCREW Crytek. They make amazing looking games with amazing physics, but they STILL use ragdolls? I mean come on, I don't want to sound like a nitpicker here but those things got improved years ago, and in a super realistic looking shooter they're just way too out of place. Bah.

Just look at the way he tosses the guy off the building in the trailer: flop. Yeah, great guys. Great work.

Well that was actually not at all exciting or original. Epic my ass. All the same shit from first chapter or even first FEAR for Christ's sake. You can throw the enemy. Wooow. You can take bullets in your face. COOL, it's almost like in Wolfenstein 3d! You battle aliens in generic urban landscape. Awesome! It's like Duke Nukem 3d, but without protagonist with a FACE! OR the shrinker.

Call of Halo: Sellout warfare.

Why are so many people not at least slightly bothered that it completely butchered everything Crysis had set up? The original characters, tactics and most importantly, the alien race, had far more depth and quality than this bullshit. Even at it's most cliche'd-dialogue moments.

Why are they still calling it Crysis? Oh that's right, because someone decided that they should be sellouts.

And of course it "gives off an powerful feeling", it uses every trick in the book to do so. It's like Avatar only here I give a fuck, because crysis used to actually be pretty good overall.

Completely agree with Social Pariah and similar.squirrel. very sad.

I'm not going to argue over whether or not the game is good, but that was a mediocre trailer.

Oh, wow, I wasn't interested in this game before, but now I am. Excellent animations and effects, looks like a versatile game. If it is in any way possible to run this on my PC at above average settings (because, let's face it, any settings less than high for Crysis is not playing Crysis right), then I will definitely consider picking this up.

Over a century ago? Are we getting an ancient conspiracy thrown into the mix?
It is set in the future, so "half a century ago" (he said half), would be... round about now.

I need to complete this game on its hardest setting. I hope you still get to grab people by the throat and run with them.

And re-master Far Cry already - that game was awesome!
