Wow. I've been intrigued by this game for a while and...
Could this trailer have been any more boring? Besides the droning voiceover before we even get to any gameplay, they focus on combat vs. stealth as choices (as if they haven't already been done to death in other games), and don't even show off a single one of the augmentations they're so damn proud of.
Other problems:
What is the difference between a lethal/nonlethal take down? If you hide the body, it shouldn't matter what you do with the guy. Also, why wouldn't you loot the body after you kill him, if you have no problem doing it when he's alive?
What's with the stupid, arbitrary shift to third person while climbing? It disoriented me and broke my immersion immediately.
Why are they so damn proud that the two guys talking don't get along? "We take every effort to make characters feel unique" they say. Two things- First, why do you feel the need to say that? If you are really the story based game you claim to be, that should go without saying. Second, a PC and their support character not getting along isn't unique, it's an enormous cliche.
Why is it she talks about take downs and picking up ammo as if they were tactical choices? Those are things I'd do no matter what style of play I was using.
The main guy's voice is annoyingly gruff and grates on my nerves. I hope he doesn't talk that much, but I know I won't have such luck.
The environments are gray, the guns are generic, the enemy AI seems incredibly stupid.
I have never been so dissapointed by gameplay footage in my life.
