If this was accessible to new game buyers with a download code, then fine. If, however, this is only free to signature edition owners then I say no to your day 1 DLC. It SMACKS of nickle and diming your full price paying fans.

If those visuals were "horrific", then I pity you. You know, since there are probably 2, maybe 3 games in the world worthy of being graced by his majesty's approving gaze..

Ooh. Day one DLC. Great. That's.. that's, you know, great. After all, we just can't wait for that extra half hour of superfluous content.

Wait, is this just taking the place of that project $10 thing? Except instead of pushing customers away from used games it's pushing us towards special editions? Pretty clever.

So really, is this just a marketing experiment--sorry; marketing experiment-cum-cash grab?

Well. At least I'm sure a character who wasn't written into the main storyline totally won't feel shoehorned in or anything. Totally.

Hmmmmm, not sure how its a cash grab or such, if you pre-order Dragon Age 2 before the eleventh of January, if memory serves, then it automatically is a Signature Edition, and it doesn't cost extra either. With all the games being bought used, and that most of the money a game makes is around its release, I think its understandable they would do something like this. And I like that they are rewarding those who pre-order early.

Yep, the accent sure is awesome.
Its the 2nd most awesome accent ive ever heard, right after that Avvar War guy in DA Awakening that talked a mix between scottish and jamaican..

I think most comments about 1st-day DLC miss the point, that being a shift from buying a game you can resell to buying half a game and half DLC and only being able to resell the game.

this dlc character does not look that interesting compared to the stone prisoner.
