I am not a big FPS fan, but I may even check this out when it comes out. (And I get my new system).

I find it humorous that people would comment on the age demographic. This game, and the previous one(s), have no misconceptions about it's demographic. So don't deried them for creating a game like that want to.

As for the music, that wasn't "rap", that was technoesq in my opinion and a slassic bad ass song. Like some good prodigy songs.. They need some more firestarter!

what engine is this running cause frankly the graphics look pretty mediocre at best.

I may be getting old, but I would prefer smoothness and game play and mediocre graphics. At this point, they just try too hard and people look wierd in the game, I'd rather them take a step back, which they seem to be doing. But the movement looked fluid to me.

ok, what the fuck? i told it i was 17, 1993, and it says i don't meet age verification standards!!! this is bullshit!!!! duke nukem is mature +17 people!!!! i've bought games like bulletstorm and halo: reach without needing parents consent, hell, when i bought bullet storm they didn't even ask for my age! they just say my facial hair on my 5'10' face and went "yep, he's over 17 all right". i should be able to read this page!!!!!

is this thing going on the PEGI scale and i can't see it because the escapist is a british site? again, bloody amazing job chaps from across the pond. can someone fix this for me so i can see it?

The video requires you to be 18+ sadly, but no, the escapist is US based, in North Carolina I think, but I could be wrong about that.

OT: I preordered this game without even realizing it when I bought a pack on steam lol

This is an incredibly disappointing trailer. Let me count the ways:
[ul][li]Duke isn't edgy anymore, he's just kind of sad and out of touch, and the voice actor knows it. He's like that guy who still subscribes to Playboy magazine.[/li]
[li]This game has the graphical hallmarks of something which has been in development for too long: outdated models and textures plus a thick dollop of shiny lighting effects to hopefully distract you. There's nothing they could have really done about this, but it doesn't exactly get me excited.[/li]
[li]The weapons seem to have that same strangely bodiless feel as they did in old iD Software games, without any real punch or weight to them. There's a reason they show the same melee attack twice in 3 minutes: it's the only animation Duke's got that feels visceral, like they want the whole game to be.[/li]
[li]It's Easter season so I am feeling the hollowness of watching virtual strippers even more acutely than usual.[/li][/ul]

There was a time when shooters we're all about blasting stuff,having fun and beeing as far from realism as possible(rocket jumps lol). Some people got away from FPS games when things like CoD and similar games came out and took the over the top fun out of the genre. Now Duke is back to kick some ass so you won't mind if we finally get an FPS as it should right?

Calm down, take a deep breath, good. The site is on the honor system that you input you're real age, if you feel that you can handle it (you obviously can), you can make that choice by simply putting in the wrong date.

not the point, i could walk into gamestop and buy when it comes out without parental consent because i'm 17 (and i'll be 18 when it comes out anyway) so if can buy M games now, why can't i go on their sites? same thing happened for gears 3, i gave it my real age after just playing the beta on my 360, but can't go on the site. ESRB doens't make any sense right now.
