It still makes me chuckle that they translated the gaming standard space marine super hero world savior into courier, I guess Obsidian really likes their delivery boys.
Is that such a bad thing?

OT: Got no clue what this DLC is suppose to be from that trailer.
Then you haven't been paying attention to the side stiry of Ulysses spread throughout the vanilla game and the other DLCs.

Crap... Need to finish Old world blues now. Turns out playing with the Project nevada mod doesn't exactly help stability...

I'm going to buy it when it comes out but I'm going to delay my playthrough until the 27th when all the extra stuff comes out.

Dead Money was quite good.
Honest Hearts was quite boring.
Old World Blues was amazing.

I'm expecting this to be awesome.

Did anyone else notice the vault 101 outfit at the end? Does this mean that the Lone frikkin Wanderer is returning? If that happens, I will make love to you obsidian.

Oh... yeah. It's on come Tuesday. Yeah, I'll bring all my weapons Ulysses, mainly because all the scaled enemies will be ridiculously brick at level 45+.
I am VERY curious to see how this plays out and what the heck's going on with Ulysses.
Well, let's also put it this way: if you're anything like me, at level 45 there very few skills left that aren't maxed out, and you are walking tank with perks that make you pretty much unstoppable.
My character IS a walking tank (thank to Tesla armour and a Tesla Cannon; go Tesla power! Tesla power for the win!), but when I did Dead Money (I played it last), the Ghost people wrecked my shit, so to speak; they had tremendous amounts of health at level 45 and the Holorifle and Automatic rifle have pathetic amounts of ammo, so I couldn't rely on either (plus the AR has appalling VATS accuracy); the police pistol does very little and my melee and unarmed skills are my lowest (both about 55-60). I had to pump them full of .357 before they'd die and usually after they'd taken a pretty chunk off my health or crippled a limb or two. Plus, I rarely got sneak bonus criticals because they always seemed to spot me.
Actually having done some thinking; I won't take all my weapons; I'll take one good, but replaceable one(probably a 12.7mm pistol) and wear decent, but common enough armour so I can toss 'em and grab all the new stuff without weight constraints; I have enough ammo to out-gun a small country, so I'm confident the Divide won't pose too many challenges.

hey, I plan on buying this and Old World Blues here soon. Can anyone confirm for me if that allows me to be at the lvl 50 cap or if I'm stuck lower than that for not buying the first two?

You'll be stuck at level 40 until you get Dead Money and Honest Hearts.

The only thing I dislike about New Vegas is that the story with Ulysses at first seemed central to the plot of the main game. Then it turns out they just wanted to hook your interest so you would buy the DLC. Not saying the DLC is bad (played Dead Money so far, loved it), but it feels like you're missing out on the story without it, which is a bad way to do DLC.

That looked more like a vault 21 outfit. You can still get an armored vault suit in New Vegas.

They wanted to include Ulysses into the game but unfortunately had to cut him due to not having enough time to put him into the game.

Why are they showing so much combat? Combat is horrible in Fallout. Show the epic locations! The quirky characters! The cazadors!

No... no, don't show the cazadors. Anything but the cazadors...

Be prepared to have your socks rocked off with Lonesome Road.
On that note...

This video was released today. COINCIDENCE?

HOLYFUCKHOLYFUCKHOLYFUCKHOLYFUCK!

I need to get my New Vegas back from my friend, he borrowed it at the start of the summer.

On a related note, does anyone know how to fix a cracked disc?

I'm very excited for this, but I just felt the need to say I will never ever watch a trailer on The Escapist when I can watch an Ad Free HD video on Youtube. I don't understand why High Quality is Pub Club only, huge huge turnoff.

I'm currently staring down the Ulysseys card from the new vegas collectors edition. If I stare long enough it might give me answers.

The same here. So far, I've gleaned that he likes the American flag, the number 3 and has an affinity for clubs.

And back on topic, I am very stoked for this DLC. However, the prospect of nuking the Mojave intrigues me - will this provide an alternative ending to the vanilla game or simply remove one or two locations from the map like in Fallout 3?

Hey, I still haven't finished all the DLC for Fallout 3... It's just so long. (cue "that's what she said")
