Really? NK has the resources, manpower, technology and funding to be able to occupy the entire US?

There's suspending disbelief, then there's outright fiction. Still, looks fun to play. I will be supporting the underdog in this game, ie. North Korea. Go, you tantrum-child of world politics, go go go!

Oh for goodness sakes, every day someone claims it's just not possible. There is an entire storyline behind the reasons of the invasion, taking the span over years before even getting close to it. Read up the large amounts of facts of how the US Economy slowly got worse and worse, North Korea slowly mends tension with the South after KJI dies and a new era of peace takes over, nations start to stop helping the US from annoyance of how the US is trying to remain on top and many more things. Lastly, it's not the entire US, only up to the Mississippi river, after that it's still in US control and they're having a stand-off. Come on, people. It's not like they just invade right now and expect the story to be believable.

As for the trailer, it was better than expected. But the beginning part was a bit meh for me. Gameplay looks decent otherwise. Can't wait for this game!

And I thought that Russians occupying United States in Modern Warfare was a bit stretched. But I guess using North Korea instead of China can secure developers pocket as far as Central Asia goes.

I recon that probably half of those Korean troops would have deflected anywhere at the first occasion - see, desert, mountains, no matter as long as it's far from their beloved leaders.

Looks good, but that's to be expected for a trailer. Here's hoping we get a decent demo to find out if the games worth it or not

Hmm...the "insurgents" are the good guys now? How did that happen?

This trailer has a very egocentric, hypocritical, narrow minded scent to it, as if the US is the only place people actually "live". All those other countries currently under occupation are just shooting galleries; barren war zones filled with maniacs. No families or homes in those areas, only collateral damage!

As for the game itself, will it deliver anything that BF or COD don't?... I mean other than a FPS view into Glenn Beck's predictions for next Tuesday?

hate to be the wet blanket here but that guy who launched the RPG from the bus just let loose a rocket from a closed in space lined with glass. His paramilitary career was short lived and it ended in a shower of glass and rocket back-blast.

I'm so glad that everyone's brought up this whole issue with firing guns and rockets in enclosed spaces. As we all know from every single previous entry in the FPS genre, firepower is treated with the utmost realism and all the relative physics are taken into consideration. This would be the first game to feature outlandish and unrealistic treatment of modern weapons, so truly it makes it a bad game.

Are you people for real?

Complaining about a guy firing a rocket from inside a bus? It's still a FPS game for crying out loud, where doing ridiculous things with guns and explosives are right up there with science fiction movies and games having sound in space. It's just a part of them, because the rigorous tedium of modeling how firearms really work (not to mention how they really kill) tends to limit the cinematic effect, and is in wide use across movies and games. It doesn't make it correct, but to single out this particular trailer for it is laughable.

I continue to see people complaining about the plot of this game, which I suppose means that it's really hit a nerve and has generated a lot of discussion, something which plenty of game designers would kill for, so I'm glad to see that it has. Also, this is a game squarely aimed at Americans and featuring a nightmare scenario that we've luckily avoided so far. What about aliens invading the US? That happens all the time, but apparently that's more believable than a southeast Asian combine lead by a future Korean Republic over 15 years from now, in 2027.

I think it's fantastic that this game has provoked this level of discussion, since that's what good speculative fiction does, but suddenly complaining about realism in an FPS seems incredibly silly.

Any recoil-less rocket launcher WILL kill you if you fire it from a confined space. Especially if that confined space is lined with glass. So RPG's, LAW's, larger mounted/man portable recoil-less rifles will kill you if you shot it from something like a school bus, or a small room. All of that boiling hot gas has nowhere to go except to go around inside the area.

Not to mention hitting a moving, flying object with an unguided not to mention antiquated RPG V7 is damn near impossible.
