I'm honestly really suspicious. It can't be as interesting as that, can it? I mean, there must be cases where you'll get bored because nothing happens and/or it's way too obvious? It looks like it could be juggling too many game mechanics at once. I guess it currently looks too good to be true. That doesn't mean it can't be as good as it looks, I just have this nagging doubt. It looks good enough to place a pre-order, but I've been burned before.
Eh, I'm not even slightly getting my hopes up, Rockstar did make Red Dead but that doesn't me jack when these people are trying to make what looks like mafia mixed with similar tactics of Phoenix Wright,my guess to be honest it'll probably have poor quality in all the areas that are not fights, but its way to early to make that call. And to be honest this trailer was horrid at getting any kind of jive going for the action, looked like that officer was pretty damn accurate with a six shot from over 15 feet away, outside, with several npcs, watching him, mow their friends down, with one shot each....
If they somehow defied the odds and brought it out to the PC, I'll be playing with a first-person mod. Yessiree, I've always enjoyed imagining being in a noir story.
I'm hoping the rest of the body movements and physics are just as realistic as the facials. I'll be playing the hell out of this game to find out

Then, I realized: it's GTA... again.
We get it, Rockstar, GTA was a great ideia... but JESUS, make something else; at this point, nobody even cares if it's bad or not: anything's better. (Even the fucking map looks the same!!!)

This does look pretty awesome.
Also, Rockstar can do story. Whilst RDR was a bit hit and miss in full, the first chapter based on the ranch was very well done, and could have been a movie in itself with only minor modifications. The main problem with RDR was that once this particular chapter was done, the rest of the game felt like only half as much effort had been put into the story.
Hopefully with it's long dev cycle and with lessons learned from RDR LA Noire will be a game to remember for all the right reasons

I will sulk in the corner with you. Why do they refuse to release both RDR or this to the pc? I loved the hell out of GTA4 and i want too for both of these games to.HaraDaya said:
Wow, those faces are absolutely horrifying. The gameplay looks fascinating though. If they pull it off, it could be one of the best games in years, and easily make GOTY 2011 in my book.
