Honestly guys ...

Yeah, it DOES look good and fun to play and I probably wouldn't bother if Rockstar didn't try to make this part of the Max Payne series.
The parts that play in New York look fantastic and I would instantly buy that game if that was the only setting, but Rio just doesn't cut it.
All I've seen in these trailers are action sequences and short glimpses of cutscenes without real content.
They're not going to have comic cutscenes like the first two games! I have no hope for this game maintaining the look and feel of the previous (excellent) installments.

Really??? Did this trailer try to sell the concept of "Final Death"???
Because, ehhhm, death has always been pretty final, Rocksteady!

And please make Max NOT F****ING BALD AND FAT!!!!!!!! :\

It looks really depressing.

I remember the first game (shall go replay it to be shure) as a pitch-plack, snow-white, baby-blood-red, and-some-vomit-rust-orange piece of angsty joy. And what do I see here? An unreal-engine-GRAY! Will they ever give me back my lovely colours? T_T

(Update) Oh well... Max Payne the first is not so awesome as I remember (OMG, that face). But just imagine this hobo running around with the sun reflecting in his bald scull while the original main theme is playing. That one, with the piano chords sounding like hollow steps of ice-cold doom. V-v-very appropiate, isn't he?

Yeah, the animation is great (since this "FPS in TPS"-thing is what Max Payne series are all about, R* did what they must ^^), but why bother about "improving" the atmosphere? Turn off the sun, give the poor Max his greased hair and trench coat back. Is it too hard to make everyone happy?

I know, now it is impossible, because it's too late, so hello Rio or whatever... Depressing. ^^'

Ohz my, this looks awesome.

Cant wait. At first I was unsure about this whole "new Max Payne" game thing, but I have faith in Rockstar.
While I'm mostly 'Meh' on the game can't help notice how Max Payne looks a lot like Walt on steroids XD
Dude! I was totally thinking the same thing when watching it, somehow didnt post about it because I thought no one would know who Walt is.
Next season on Breaking Bad, shit gets real... Like he jumps around and blows people's brains out.

Oh wait, this was a game trailer? They based a game on it? o_O

:p

Wow that all sounds very promising, hopefully it truly delivers. Also this looked cool but I hope the game has those creepy moments the series is known for, like following the trail of blood through your house in that nightmare sequence. I would love at least three different scenes that just screw with your mind.
