So yeah, Activision's brand new IP gets its first sequel. Let's not dwell on the semantics of "new IP"; the first game used the Spyro brand solely to sell units. That's it. Nothing more. There was no legacy, no exploration of the franchise, and no shame. Now that he's served his purpose, they don't even need to bother with it anymore. Spyro's devolution to minor supporting character is complete.
And those giant things were super annoying. I guess the kids'll love 'em though.
