Trailers: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - The Sound of Skyrim

Maybe it's because expectations for Skyrim are so high, but after watching all the trailers, leaked gameplay footage, etc. I don't feel the same kind of magic that Morrowind had.

The world of Morrowind was worth exploring. It was strange, mystifying, full of things you've never seen before.
Skyrim seems to be a lot more like Oblivion: Standard fantasy fare.

This voice acting and writing isn't all that good, either. Something about these characters is very disquieting. They just don't feel real.

That's funny, I seem to remember that Morrowind's setting was more or less just a large blob of brown with the occasional large fungus to spice things up.

Damn 70+ voice actors vs oblivion's 12, awesome.

Facial animations still kinda suck I'm afraid.

jesus this game keeps getting better and better. I wouldn't be surprise if they made this game GOTY twice.
