Seems deeper than 'toss into the fountain and piss off the Fairie Queen mechanic'. However you'd imagine by now they'd have an upgrade system that isn't reminiscent of ALOT of games (like WoW's crafting system).

Links happy face is gonna give me nightmares. Seriously, why'd they make him smile like that on every damn item he picks up? Is he mentally challenged now?

So if Twilight Princess was an update to Ocarina of Time, does that make this an update to Wind Waker???

Hmm they're a little late to the upgrade system party. Nevertheless it seems to work well.

I hope this system is really needed, after all, I had the wooden shield for what seems like an hour before I got the best one in Twilight Princess. Then I just laugh at every merchant trying to sell me another wooden one.

Seriously, did anybody have to buy another wooden shield in that game? Did they think that people would not dodge flaming arrows or something?

What?! No ridiculously long fetch quest that sucks hours of your life away as you run back and forth getting new instructions without even knowing what the prize of all your turmoil will be only to find out you have a new sword?

I for one am pleasantly surprised as well as disappointed

That is all.

Not in this game he's not :(

Hopefully the WiiU Zelda game will return Link to left-handedness because he is right-handed in the Wii games because of the controls (which are more comfortable with the wii-mote in right hand)

This trailer actually makes me want this game LESS. I'm rather tired of using items to solve puzzles, and the foreshadowed collectathon here doesn't make me want to do that.

We had this debate back in 2006. Most people are right handed. Since the Wii makes use of motion controls most people are more comfortable with swinging a sword with their right hand.

This was also a part of the Midna debate. "THE WRONG EYE IS COVERED!!!" Nintendo actually changed the maps and reversed everything in the GC versions and the Wii versions just for fun. Link is right handed in the Wii version but the map is reversed also, and Midna's other eye is covered.

Link is a blank slate, Link is you. [sub](and to Yahtzee: Faggballs)[/sub]

Hopefully they will give an option for the south paws. Then again I tend to give nintendo more credit than they deserve when it comes to things like this.
