You know what I missed in Sims 2 Pets, and is still not in Sims 3 Pets?

Lapcats and lapdogs.

Pro'lly 80+ percent of my time with my cat is with her in my lap, getting pets or simply sleeping while I work. That is, time when she's not sleeping with me in bed.

And dogs are notorious bedwarmers, and cats sleep on our heads to wake us up when it's chow time.

These are essential human-pet interactions, and are conspicuously absent in The Sims series. Still.
