Why would a movie about robots that turn into cars need a story line?

I thought the first film was really enjoyable in a silly summer blockbuster way. Hell, I enjoyed it, and will be going to see the second under the pretense that my younger brother's dragging me along...

Megan Fox isn't that cute. I'm probably not going to see this movie until it comes out on On-Demand, and I couldn't care less. I'd rather waste my money on a dart competition.

Its awesome effects, and fighting robots, why not?

Indeed. Transformers isn't a franchise that I even give two shades of gray about. The effects are cool, and there are big explosions, so why not?

It's a summer blockbuster. The trailer is pretty much interchangable with just about any other trailer for a summer movie. I don't expect it to be great, classic cinema. If I wanted that, I'd rent Clockwork Orange again. I go to see flicks like Transformers because it gives me a chance to sit down, shut my brain off, and relax a bit. Loopholes? Fine by me, as long as I'm Entertained.

Agreed. Apparently, Megan Fox is one of the many candidates to be the next Lara Croft. She would get my vote.

Not much. The first one wasn't great. All it was was an opportunity to oggle Megan Fox. And I just want to say that the £5 were well spent.
