I plan to get it today. Big Transformer fan, and I've been watching good reviews on it from Gametrailers and here at the Escapist..and playing the demo, which I find extremely fun.

Yep, beat it already. Great story, almost makes up for the movies.

Yars! Having a whale of a time with it. Also, this weekend will have double-xp in multiplayer. So, good timing. :)

It's been pretty fun. Unfortunately it's starting to succumb to the same thing a lot of multiplayer games do. You'll frequently run into matches where the entire opposing team chooses the same class which is boring as hell, and in a game where you can change your class mid-game is just stupid. That and Since last week I've seen a grand total of three stages in rotation, out of like six or eight. Pisses me off given just how many good classes and stages the game has, it's boring to play on the same stages over and over and over and over and over and over without any change in the lineup while fighting team after team after bloody team of nothing but scouts. But it's still fun as hell.
Teehee..
1. Sounds like every other class based shooter game. I'm pretty sure most if not all of them allow you to change classes by simply pausing and choosing another one to respawn as.
2. Well...some maps just get used a lot. O-o...Perhaps people just like them, or they think they are good on them...*shrugs*

Between There and There.
Country
The Wide, Brown One.
I've played a bit of it and...

Zzzzzzzz...

It's pretty much like every other bloody third person cover based shooter made on the Gears iteration of the Unreal engine. So if you like those, yay for you, and double yay if you're a Transformers fanboy. Actually, scratch that... Even if you REALLY, REALLY like every other bloody third person cover based shooter unless you're a Transformers fanboy you'd be better off just playing one of the games you've already got.

I have it, and been having a lot of fun with it, but unfortunately the servers seem to be getting worse with each passing day. Yesterday every single game I was in was so damn laggy they were all completely unplayable. I really hope they get it sorted soon.

Hopefully get it today. I'm still sad about the lack of Splitscreen, but hey, the Game looks like perfect summer entertainment.

Uuum... War for Cybertron has no cover system... me suspects you didn't actually play it...

But yeah, anyway, have it, beat it, loved it.

Honestly, and maybe I'll get flamed for this, but I've had more fun with this then I did Gears or even Modern Warfare 2 online. Yeah the transformation gameplay is a gimmick, but it just works so well that I love it.

Are you a writer for Gamespot or something? The game has no cover mechanic, for better or worse.

Got it and enjoying it.
1.Peter Cullen and Johnny Yong Bosch lend their voices.
2.Story features ton of classic characters (Starscream, Optimus Prime, Trypticon, Omega Supreme etc).

Sure except this isn't a cover based game at all. But I guess you would actually have to play it to know that.

Yes, the story is really good and since you're a bit transformers fan you will adore it. The Multiplayer is tons of fun aswell. I advice you to do the single player story in order though, Decepticon Campaign first then Autobot campaign.

Honestly, I thought the gameplay was lacking and amateurish for a TPS.

Without the novelty of its presentation there isn't much there...=/

I've got it and I love it, I just haven't played MP since I'm kind of nervous to try it since I've never done online MP of a shooter before and I know I'll get the "noob" moniker.
