Started Transistor up on Steam today and it seems like... I dunno, like the game speed just dropped to 60-75% or something. Everything is moving incredibly slowly, going from gameplay to menus, nothing's at the right speed.

Before someone acts all sarcastic, yes I've done everything you might think of.
I checked the framerate, no issue there.
I checked the settings, nothing to change there.
I validated files, apparently it had all of them already.
I reinstalled the game, still the same issue.

I've tried searching on other forums for similar issues, but it seems like I'm the only person afflicted by this... ever. I dunno.

I really want to end up finishing this game because it's fucking good but when the speed goes down to this level it's basically unplayable.

This is probably a long shot since it sounds like the game was fine before and only just started acting up? but have you updated your graphics drivers? I know that when it released, I was getting pretty weird performance while using mouse&keyboard until I did that (and for some reason performance while using a gamepad was fine).

I haven't played the game in a little bit so I can't really give any more specific advice, but normal maintenance stuff could help too; Shutting down and restarting your PC, clearing out excess files, etc. etc. Sometimes the weirdest problems are suddenly gone just by rebooting. It's one of the things about PC gaming that annoys me the most. Sorry I can't be any actual help.

Updated drivers recently. I guess I didn't restart yet so I'll try that soon, thanks. Can't believe I didn't think of it.
