So anyone get an invite? I've been playing it all day and it's awesome. Only complaints so far are that Snipers are a bit over powered and Assault rifles are under powered.

Yep, Tribes Ascend. HiRez studios just released the beta. It's going to be F2P.

If it has an engineering section like what T2 had I will shit. It made the multiplayer fun, like your first experience of making and sharing an LBP map type of fun. Wow.

I assume it's slated for next year. Was the beta thru Steam or anything?

Closed beta, no steam. I swear I saw the release for late November, but I can't find it now, so not sure.
