Ok so I just got my copy of FF XII on lunch break, and I'm patiently waiting going home to play. So, I open up the game and see a product registration card which reads as follows:
"Receive a special item by registering your copy of FINAL FANTASY XIII here:"
then the site and the code.
So, I figure hey why not? I do it and guess what!
"You are eligible to receive a 20-digit FINAL FANTASY XIV promotional code because you registered FINAL FANTASY XIII for PlayStation®3."
Apparently I can get a "secret item" in FF XIV...
FF XIV? What? I have XIII not XIV! Why the hell would I want an item for XIV? It doesn't even exist you bastards!
Sorry, had to get that out. Last FF game I played was Chrystal Chronicles and I can't believe they'd give me an item for their next frackin game. Not to mention you've gotta jump through quite a few hoops to register, sure it's not hard but I'm pretty annoyed they'd pull such a low maneuver. Jerks!
