It's strange. looking at the stats, Linux users paid more than double the price, on average, to users of other operating systems. I guess Linux users are more likely to support indie devs or something.
Linux users are more likely to be grown up techies with well paying jobs.

Or they can't count. HEYO!

But seriously I sincerely doubt the only factor is using linux. It could just as easily that the people who use linux just happen to also have more money to spend at this point in time and in six months it will be the exact opposite.
It seems unlikely that it's just a pure chance factor, because double is pretty significant. Maybe it's because Linux has less games available, so they're grateful to devs who cater to them, or perhaps it's because Linux is free, and they have a little extra cash to spend because of it. Whatever the reason, I doubt it's chance.
I think it's mainly because the Linux users have the smallest group to be honest. On Windows (and Mac, to an extent) you have so many people spamming $1 'donations' that it's not even funny. I'm willing to bet around half of the sales were for $1 or not very much more.

That said, I'll be picking this up for about $5, mainly because that's all I can really spare at the moment. I've wanted to get Trine for a while, but I couldn't really justify getting another PC game I'd never play.

Actually, at the time when I said that, Linux users had bought more than Mac users, although obviously Windows had by far the most purchases.

Hell, Trine is worth at least £20 on it's own. That game is the only game I'd say is beautiful.
Buy this, now!

It's been the same for every Humble Indie Bundle - the average donation from Linux users was significantly higher than either Windows or Mac. (And Mac users did better than Windows users.) I suspect it's because we Linux users are just so desperately grateful to anyone who'll release a game for our favourite operating system...

I wonder what the bonus will be this time around if they have one? Hm... might be another game by these developers if they're keeping with that theme.

I can confirm that Trine is a decent game. The rest are pretty "meh" but if you can find a good Co-op buddy I suppose Shadowgrounds might be acceptable.

I'd say Trine is worth 5-10 dollars alone.
