I'm really going to regret this later, but screw it.

To anyone who would consider themselves a fan of TRON, just post something here. Not just people who liked the movies (or one movie),but the games (ESPECIALLY the games, this is a gaming website after all.) Say why too.

I don't know why I feel like doing this, I just wanna see if any significant numbers come up.

If you feel inclined, post some nerdiness here. Tron related art, costumes whatever . . .

Hun, I'm afraid the off-topic discussion forum is for discussion. Posting for the sake of posting just doesn't quite cut it. Try offering us something specific to talk about, something that has discussion value.

What? "Say Why too" Isn't enough? Like no one can has any creativity to say something or have any fan art to share? Obviously if you cared enough to reply you would say something. Stop acting like you're "Teaching the N00b". I know how a forum works.

I'm a fan of Tron. The original was amazing, the new one was incredible. The games were severely lacking from my experience.

I... I'm not really sure what we're discussing though... You just said "say why"... Pretty much just makes this a list thread with reasoning behind your list.

-_- Great. Well what do you want me to do, delete it? I even said at the begining I was going to regret it. It's stupid. It's just for fun.

The discussion value isn't here. I can't find it, it must be gone.

That being said I have yet to watch the original but the new one is one hell of an eye candy.

Alright I'll stimulate the conversation. What do you guys prefer? The old campy graphics, or the new really techy ones that I'm sure capture the original vision Lisberger? I did not see the new one so I will not state a solid opinion, but it looked like the new story line was about as weak as the original. That being said, I think the original's graphics and visual effects will capture the retro feel much better than the new one. Any thoughts?!?!

Funny story, keeping your avatar in mind. I'm an old fan of Tron, saw it as a kid, loved it. Years later, I was in a school that had an actual Tron arcade machine, no shit. Loved the hell out of that thing, even though I wasn't that good at first. But, you work these things and stuff and now...well, I'm glad someone put it online.

I never played the other games. Somehow, never really felt up to it. But DAMN I did enjoy Legacy. That was a GOOD movie. Great music too.

Oh cool your jets. Obviously you aren't terribly familiar with how these forums work, or you wouldn't have gotten so much backlash. I was only trying to get in first and word it more nicely than others around here would.

I should of thought of this. Thanks for the help, I guess.

SEE LEGACY PLEASE! It may change your mind . . .

Anywho . . . Is it wrong to say both?

Lisberger's vision is kinda what helped craft the idea of cyberspace. I like it for the fact that it was very creative and really imaginitative. It was really close to how I felt a "computer world" would be like, so It felt sort of personalized. I also really admire all the hard work that went into it.

I like Legacy's look too, mostly because I can see how it fits into the story. I think it was different because Flynn had sort of made it that way. He designed "the Grid" from the ground up and his influence on it was powerful enough to make iso's, so it probably differed from ENCOM's server for the same reasons.

I can appreciate both for a multitude of reasons. XD
