What are your first impressions of Tropico 3? Is it worth getting? Does it beat it's predecessors? What are Its good and bad points?

I enjoy the Civilization games very much, and want to know if I should get this.

I loved Tropico 3. It looks beautiful and is a ton of fun to play. The sandbox mode is great and the campaign gives it the needed variety and even more personality. My only beef is that the politics have been REALLY dumbed down. Its almost impossible to lose an election. Aside from the nerfed difficulty it is a TON of fun and worth the $39.99 on steam. HIGHLY recommended.

Get Tropico: Mucho Macho Edition on Steam first. Tropico 3 by the looks of the demo will be a bit tougher, but probably more rewarding. It's a great game and I hope the next installment builds on it!
