So I just bought a 21.5 inch iMac, and straight out the box there seems to be alot wrong with it.

1) The inbuilt speakers wont appeak in the sound window in the system preferences.

2) The dvd player says "A valid video device could not be found for playback [-70017]

3) I can't find a way to set up a wireless internet connection.

So can anyone offer any advice other than go to the support page, because I'm not having any luck there.

On the third one, are you certain you have a built in airport card? Last I knew, they were still an upgrade. Which is so, so stupid. If you do have one, the setup will be in the bar at the top of your screen. Just click on the wifi icon and choose your network. If you've tried that and you're sure you have a wireless card, I'm afraid I'm of no help!

On the second, you could always try reinstalling the drivers. Also, a quick Google search turned up this:
