If the contract was signed in your name you may be able to do something about it. You can certainly cut off the line if you contact the network and say it's been taken from you unlawfully. If the TV is in your name then you could threaten to have her prosecuted for stealing.
If it's in her name though then there's not much you can do.

You could get her done for damage of property as well.

And I know man... it should be simple, don't know why so many people are really petty about breakups.

It was my impression that once someone gave something as a gift, they could not get it back.

Dunno about that, though.

Do you have house insurance? If so then you could claim both back without having to get it from her at all-just say it was stolen.
If it's broken then you'll need some form of insurance to have it fixed, but you'll be able to get another handset and put your SIM card into it.

Because they are full of emotion and emotion makes people do stupid stuff. We all know someone who was "in Love" who went and did some really stupid stuff then regretted it when their brain kicked in. I am not sure if in love is better or worse than break up anger, need more test subjects.

This is a time to detach yourself from your emotion, act rationally, the law likes that. Be angry on your own time aka after you have gotten your stuff back.

It's still freaking ridiculous and devoid of all logic -.-

My GF when I was 15 broke up with me. 2 weeks later she was complaining to people that I was always around her and she didn't like it.

Well if she hadn't been hanging out and flirting with all my friends then maybe she wouldn't have had a problem...

If its in your name, then its yours by law. No amount of "getting her sis involved" will change that. Call the police, or get a court order to get it back. If it is damaged, you can get her for destruction of property. If she still refuses to give it back even with a court order or the police, then she will be in legal trouble as well. She really doesn't have a leg to stand on unless you gave it her as a gift or the items are in her name.

Your human emotions amuse me....erm yes I am a human. Speaking as a human I have seen the same stuff happen to other humans, it is odd and hard to quantitate.

I had some girl explode at me for stuff I did over four years ago so I know how odd emotion is.

Generally why they are exploding I stare at them blankly and disinterestedly.

Then once they're done... 'Are you finished? Cause I'm hungry...'

Always good for a laugh later on.
