This means that more stupid foreigners are gonna miserably fail to pronounce our volcanos we get to play a little game!


So a few years back, the people of a tiny little island called Iceland had fun laughing at a various news media's pronouncing of one little volcano.

So apparently shit is gonna hit the fan again and another volcano is not going to let Eyjafjallajökul(Yeah, I can pronounce it!) have all the fun in the modern world.

So I'm not going to let this chance walk away from me and wonder eternally how the people of The Escapist are going to pronounce it.

That's right. I want you guys to say the name of this volcano to me!

That's my attempt, I said it roughly as it's spelt, though I have suspicions that it may actually be pronounced in some unique way in a similar manner to why non-English people often have trouble saying Leicestershire and Worcestershire.

At lest Eyjafjallajökul had some sort of logical thread to its name, you can sort of make out what it means at a glance. Bardarbunga sounds like it should be next doors to Mt. Kilimanjaro.
