Trying to return a lost Bluetooth

I found a Bluetooth on the street about half an hour ago, about to be stepped on or run over. I picked it up and took it home, hoping I'd find a way of returning it to its owner. I figure the internet can help me with that. It's a Plantronics Explorer 240. I have the FCC and IC on it, too. It's flashing blue lights and is probably synced to a phone, but I have no idea how to operate it and I don't have a charger. Tips?

No offense, but how can we help you find the owner of a bluetooth headset that probably isn't even synced anymore. It probably only has a range of 5-10 meters. Even if it was synced, how would you trace it to it's owner?

No idea. That's why I asked. I don't know shit about Bluetooths. I was half expecting someone to just say "Impossible." I think that- heeeyyy, I know you! You have that avatar! You're the guy who posted the... thing... on that thread about... that stuff... yeah, I can't remember. Anyway thanks for the input.

You could go on Craigslist and post some minor information about it. There is a lost and found section. But don't give away too much info because if you're trying to get someone to come claim it, you'll want to have something secure to ask whoever responds to your ad.
