Yep, i'm trying. Emphasis on TRYING.

I just went through 20 minutes of soldier gameplay recording with camstudio, but it didn't record anything other than the video and my microphone. No game audio whatsoever.

Part of the problem may be that i'm using a headset, so yeah..

Other than that though, the video quality failed to impress me.

So i'm wondering if the escapist here can help me in my quest to become an lper, perhaps by recommending some video capture software and teaching me how to configure it properly to record both my microphone, as well as in game audio.

Can somebody help an aspiring lper? D=

A good video recorder is the Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR. It records in HD, so youll get really good quality visuals.

Why don't you try sending a message over Youtube to Blame Truth, Hutch, Seananners or any of the popular video posters?

They'll probably be able to give you a few tips!

Maybe not Hutch as he's after getting huge now, but the others should have free time.
