I was recently looking through the newest Gameinformer and noticed somthing strange they had a list of fourteen games that are still releasing instead of delaying themselves for profits. Of these 14 games listed eleven of them release on a tuesday they are as follows:

Halo 3: ODST Sept 22 Tue
Alpha Protocol Oct 6 Tue
GTA Chinatown Oct 6 tue
Brutal Legend Oct 13 Tue
Uncharted 2 Oct 13 Tue
Borderlands Oct 20 Tue
Rachet and Clank Future: A Crack In Time Oct 27
Dragon Age: Orgins Nov 3 Tue
Modern Warfare 2 (ya!) Nov 10 Tue
Assassin's Creed II Nov 17 Tue
Left 4 Dead 2 Nov 17 Tue

Now is this a concidence, or are game producers Tuesday worshipping cultists? (joking, kinda)

Well, everybody hates Mondays. And I guess they want to have as many days left of the week of release as possible, so Tuesday is the only logical choice. Kind of.
Not that I'm serious or anything, I honestly have no clue.

I'd rather them release games on Friday so I could go pick them up on the weekend.
I never go to buy games on Tuesday.

I dont see how releasing it on a different day makes a difference but maybe it subconsious or something.

I blame M.Bison [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B8rlonf0NQ]! It's obvious they all loved the Street Fighter movie and this is their way of paying tribute.
