Porn hub is bad for a lot of reasons: questionable legality of some of the performers, revenge porn/rape videos being uploaded, alomost no vetting to speak of, rampant theft and plagiarism with almost no recourse, etc. Basically the last people I'd want in charge of a website where teens are figuring shit out sex wise.

And that's before we get into stuff like their PR team blatantly lying. Remember that time they were gonna plow the snow off the streets of some city, Boston I think? Blatant lie, they never did that.

Don't trust them as far as I can throw them. Best case scenario is that the tumblr porn bots become officially sanctioned tumblr porn bots

Imagine a porn based business being into shady stuff. Heaven forfend.

A porn business that does not rigerously vett its performers is one not long for the world. Theft and plagiarism is gonna be an issue with ANY video or artwork sharing site, but ensuring its performers are legal in every sense of the word is neck and neck with making sure they're clean of STD/Is - if they fail to maintain those, they're fucked.

Wouldn't selling the site to Pornhub raise their ire cause you would think they would dislike Pornography as sexist or something?

tumblr is hypocritical. and to be fair, most feminists aren't against porn, they just want porn to not be demeaning and objectify against women. thye want porn where women are equal to men.

Well, I did a search for MLP on deviant art and while there were a few porn pics the weirdest one I saw was a farting pic and thats just 1 out of like 200 or so that a browsed through. I actually didn't see any vore at all, which I would notice since I like snake pics and hate vore, but the two end up being combined way too much.

Not to say its not out there, I know it is, I've stumbled upon it. Just not on deviantart.

If there is one thing Pornhub is great at, it's marketing. If someone can revive Tumblr it's them, especially with their "bringing back the porn" battlecry.

It wasn't the banning of porn that really hurt Tumblr the most, it was the algorithm that started flagging non-porn as porn.

It was the equivalent as if World of Warcraft banned 30% of their playerbase. More than 30% will leave because they had relations with that 30%, and then it's rats fleeing a sinking ship.
