Turtle Beach X11 Problem

I purchased a Turtle Beach X11 and when I try to turn up my game volume, a static occurs in the left earpiece. Does anyone know a solution to this problem?

Have you tried it with other speakers or headphones? Ear buds often go faulty and crackle when you turn the volume up.

It's likely either a problem with your headphones or sound card/driver. Reinstall the driver, and if that doesn't fix it, get a new set of headphones for ~$5, and if that doesn't fix it, get a new sound card.
