Ok, so I need some help with this. My mate is starting in a new job as an English tutor which he has never done before. He is gonna tutor these students (they are about 20-somethings, like young adults) and he doesn't really know what material to come up with for these students. The students don't talk English so well yet (they're Koreans) and one lesson lasts 2 hrs (with some breaks of course). Oh yeah, and he doesn't teach to a group but to one student at a time.

So if you could please be kind enough to help me out with this: What material should he use for the students? How should he start the first lesson? My mate would be more than happy with any material you come up with. ^^v

Have him talk to them first. Find out their interests. Then go from there. Integrate things they really enjoy into english lessons.
