I recently stumbled into a vid on Youtube, "Biker Mice From Mars intro" <youtube=NJPYmd8_Qdw>
I remember how awesome and original TV used to be, especially Cartoons.
Guys, we had Mice riding motorcycles, we had turtles kicking the shit out of baddies, we had the original X-men and best of all, Batman the animated series.
Today, we have a little girl with a wig who transforms by putting it on (Srsly, wtf.)

Now, i'm just reminding everyone how lucky we are. :)

Edit: Post tv-shows that deserve to be remembered for their awesomeness, youtube vids too if you want :)

Samurai Jack was one of the coolest cartoons ever if blood was added it would have been a very violent show (I think it was supposed to be a more adult show in the beginning since so many of the "robots" look like animals before being hacked up)
Courage the Cowardly was an awesome show for the first season... it became pretty annoying after they drained all the humor from the show and made almost every episode more horror-based.

Samurai Pizza Cats comes to mind, looking back on it now it was a pretty lame show >.>

I never thought i'd grow out of cartoons but I just don't connect with them for the most part anymore although I can generally still watch stuff I enjoyed as a kid.

I seriously do not see any difference between these.

Saturday morning Cartoons in general were very bad ass. Thank God I grew up in the 90's. Too bad they don't even have cartoons on kid's networks anymore.

All they have is sitcoms and reality shows.
(Yes even "Cartoon" Network does this now. Sad hu?)

I hate to take the wind out of your sails, but Biker Mice From Mars is probably where the kid's cartoon started to go wrong.

Chowder has to be the weirdest show on TV right now. I miss the random stuff like Ed Edd and Eddy. Was hilarious.

Now too many shows are influenced by kiddie anime. I won't argue against good ones (you fans can decide what they are), but we have an influx of shows like Naruto and Bleach and crap. I hate it. Kids love it. TV stations show and make tons of money.

The world is in a sorry state. Needs more Bioshock cartoon...

What? It's do-able!?

Pretty much anything from early toonami was good. I remember coming home from school every day to watch DBZ (even if it was just Goku powering up the whole time). The shows back when I was a kid were amazing... now almost everything new sucks. The only good shows are fairly old (House, Scrubs, Monty Python's Flying Circus). Oh well...

I am 19. I LOVED the old cartoons and shows like Boy Meets World. Phineus and Ferb is like THE BEST show that has come out lately. I didn't at first like it but watching a few episodes and I think its VERY well done.
THE BEST show in my opinion to come out in this generation though is Avatar the Last Airbender. Which I cannot find the intro to with both sound and voice along with the ACTUAL cartoon intro and not some fan made thing.
The end of my era of TV shows was Spongebob it was the intro into the new cartoons which have all but sucked by comparison because people are trying to get away with LESS than they did then than they are now. Almost no children's cartoons have adult jokes sneaked into them like they used to.

Side question what exactly do you watch on TV Jelly?
