TV really has gone down the drain, even the History channel now has reality shows.

I find it very hard to believe that they're "reality shows".
Excorsism? Pfft people used that excuse to bonk up the sex life.
But really I hate the TV and if my family wouldn't force me to watch it with them then I would never watch it.

Shut up and watch Dexter, Lost, Fringe, The Office, Community, Prison Break(1st season) The Shield, and Breaking Bad.

a lot of the stuff i watch is repeats from old, great programmes or new episodes of shows that are still going. last nights QI was pretty good

I generally only watch SBS and the ABC (in Australia). I don't know what the equivalent is other places but SBS has all the foreign movies (like redcliff etc) and really mind bending indie movies etc. The kind of movies that are well written and "make you think" essentially. ABC just has the Daily Show, Colbert, Mythbusters, The Chaser, Blackbooks, IT crowd and basically any other awesome TV series. Also ABC has no commercial breaks and SBS has minimal adds.
