why all the hate for twilight
and why do girls like it so much

Anyway, I think the films are alright, not bad, not great. Thats about it. Alot of the hate is unwarranted, most people give an opinion without actually seeing the movies.

I don't like it because I didn't like the book, I thought it was well, crap. Also the way the vampires are portrayed? Cmon!

I read five pages of the first novel.
I've watched the first fifteen minutes of the first film.

I wasn't a fan, and I stopped reading/watching.

Why is this still a big deal?

Movies are ok.. But whats up with the vampires?? They dont have the teeth, and their skin shines like diamonds in the sun?!?! Very girly vampires if you ask me..

But to be honest, I didn't hate the books. Jasper was always interesting for me, it's just Bella and Edward's sickly sweet relationship I found to be off putting.

Because when there is a huge hype over something, like Twillight, Megan Fox, Halo 3 etc, if you don't like them, you can't just be "meh" about them, because you hear about them behind every fucking corner, "why is halo 3 so good?" , "why all the hate for Twillight?" , "Poll : Do you like Halo 3 ? SEARCH BAR APPROVED!!!" and sooooo oooooooon. So yes, you start to hate them.

Not all girls like it, just a stereotypical Twilight fan is a female Robert Patterson obsessive.

Most girls I know actually hate it...

OT: I think it's hated because of fangirls and the fact that the books have more plot holes than Star Wars.

EDIT: I think it's loved by fangirls because of topless werewolves and sparkly vampires [small](kidding...)[/small] .

I don't like Twilight, but just give it a rest. It's mentioned every five minutes, some people actually like it on here, such as lovely ol' Trivun, and they must get really pissed off with all the slating it's getting.
How would you feel if about 50 threads popped up insulting something you really like? It'd piss me off, that's for sure.
