Unfortunately, if Robert Patterson did great things like win 3 gold medals, sell a platinum album which everyone liked and wrote an amazing book, I still think people would still be "isn't he that fag in twilight?"

I don't see why everyone seems to hate Rob Pattinson. Fine, despite being a Twilight fan, I don't like the character of Edward Cullen. And also, I think that Pattinson's acting in Twilight and New Moon was extremely wooden and he showed literally no emotion in either film. But Rob Pattinson has proven himself to be a good actor as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter, and he's also starring in an upcoming film called Remember Me, which I saw the trailer for, and that film looks great. And more importantly, according to the trailer, Pattinson actually acts extremely well (watch the trailer or clips of it for proof). He's not a bad actor, he just happened to be crap in the Twilight films.

Anyway, back on topic. I've heard some of Pattinson's music and he's pretty good. Maybe nothing mainstream, but if his acting career goes tits up then he's got something good to fall back on. That's got to be worth something, right?

I've heard him jamming things on the piano and guitar etc and I think he's a really fucking talented musician. He composes with real soul and creates interesting and diverse soundscapes. People need to get over the twilight hate, it's old news, yeah it wasn't all that great but for fuck sake get over it and find something you do like and praise that...

Remember when Charlie Simpson left Busted to continue with his old band Fightstar? Well guess what? Fightstar are fucking awesome and absolutely nothing Charlie did with Busted (which was horrible btw) will have any effect on me when I think about Fightstar. He got over the fan rage and abuse by blowing peoples faces off with Fightstar's emotive brand of highly textured, hyper charged post-rock music.
