Twists

So I just finished both V for Vendetta and Bioshock today (I know weird mix right?) which, in my opinion, are very well written and have well hidden twists within them. What is your favourite plot twist whether in a book, film or game. Was it because it was the most surprising, most thrilling or just because it was really awesome?

When the hero fails and everyone/everything goes to hell/gets destroyed.
Which so far barely ever happens.

Usual Suspects, Seven, Crying Game, and Traitor. Some of the best twist ending things ive seen in some time.

These are fantastic cases of Twists ever. Along came a spider (Which is the sequal to Crying game and Usual Suspects) is also a fantastic twist ending.
