So you think it was alright taking one of the only villains to ever outsmart Batman the only villain to ever figure out his true identity and turn him into someone who is a slave? I know they can mould him however they want to, but that was taking one of the best villains in the Batman universe and turning him into the opposite of what he really is. It's like if someone was to remake Metroid Prime and turn Samus into a man...ArBeater said:-SNIP-

I would actually like to see Man-Bat in a movie. Since Nolan's going for semi-realistic crime saga, and Burton/Schumacher went for gothic cartooniness, I think whoever does it next should try a more suspenseful, horror-influenced take on the character. Killer Croc, Man-Bat, Mad Hatter, an expanded role for Scarecrow, that sort of thing. And since part of Hugo Strange's deal is making people into his zombie slaves, he would definitely fit in with that kind of tone.Sparrow said:Next we'll find out DiCaprio has a part, but only for a brief few seconds as Manbat.
He isn't.2718 said:I'm hoping for Mr. Zsasz as the antagonist. The potential for skilled acting is enormous.
Zsasz was actually in Begins. He's the criminal shown getting sent to Arkham instead of jail by Dr. Crane AKA Scarecrow. Horrible underuse of the character, but I doubt they would or could undo it.2718 said:I'm hoping for Mr. Zsasz as the antagonist. The potential for skilled acting is enormous.
My goodness that is a long way off.Tom Goldman said:Dark Knight Rises is scheduled to hit theaters on July 20, 2012.
