So the Xbox E3 event was pretty bad, right? Not that many anticipated exclusives except maybe Titanfall and whatever Halo game they come out with. A crazy pricing point, probably there because you're forced to buy a Kinect, whether you want one or not.
They were also expectedly quiet about all the concerns people had and since they cancelled the round-table everyone will be forced to continue further speculation.
One thing I noticed is that EA really seems to be in bed with Microsoft this time around. Releasing at least one game (Titanfall) exclusively for them and even giving them exclusive early access to DLC (BF4). I think we can assume this is because of Microsoft's stance on used games and the always online requirement.
Well, it seems that EA just boarded the Titanic and that ship is now sinking fast.
I realise that no matter what happens to Microsoft, EA will continue to stick around. It's just funny to see them back what appears to be the wrong horse.
Edit: Okay, it seems Titanfall is now coming to PC as well, just not for PS4. But my point still stands on them taking preference over Xbox. They're still going to have to step it up though.
With a new generation and a fist full of exciting exclusives and other original IP's, they can't continue to rely on annual sequels for much longer.
