Game one: Supreme Commander
Here's the story. I got the game for Christmas. I installed it without a problem. When I attempt to run the game,however,I get the error message telling me that the incorrect disk is inserted. The game only has one disk.

Game two: Gothic 4: Arcania
My friend got this one. He downloaded and played the demo via Steam,and liked it. So,he asked for it for Christmas,and got it,retail version. It installs without a hitch,but when he tries to run it,nothing happens. Absolutely nothing happens,period. His cursor changes to the "Loading" cursor for thirty seconds,then nothing. No error messages,no NOTHING. He attempted uninstall and reinstall twice,and it had no effect.
