Okay, so Nintendo released two new games for the Mii Plaza today (at least they were in the US), a fishing game called Ultimate Angler, and a zombie one called Battleground Z. You can buy them individually at $4.99 USD, or buy them together for $7.99 USD.

For those who have bought them, what do you think of the new games? For those who haven't, what do you think of them based on what you've seen/heard so far?

Me, I don't have either, and only plan on getting the zombie one as fishing doesn't really pique my interest.

I actually enjoy fishing games. Even as side distractions in Zelda or Monster Hunter. But I hardly touch the Streetpass function because I live in a semi-rural area of Canada and finding other users is near-impossible. The large majority of my play coins simply come from using the built-in pedometer.

Ok now I want to know if this apply to European (UK)???

After Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, I realise there is no other future 3DS games worth buying now and also it's the fact that I liked playing the Streetpass games on my lunchbreak at work (a good pick up and played).

EDIT- Yup it also out for UK resident! I gonna pop into the toy store to get an eshop card to buy it.

Also heh, it seen there are plenty of people with an 3DS in my costal town especially when tourist are around but I do get 0 pass sometimes.

EDIT 2- Ok I got the two games-

Fishing is alright, it kinda like Garden in that there is a collection but with fishes and others (I got a boot and seaweed) instead of flowers and you get your own aquarium to display like the garden. It also has a hint of Mansion since you get different fishing rods.

Zombie is pretty neat, abit like Mansion in that you get weapons with different stats. It mainly similar to Streetpass Squard in that you fight in a level and once complete with no game over, you moved onto the next area. In saying so I stop playing Squad once I finish the game (the other challanges to get the tickets were not worth it). I was put off that it mainly require alot of Mii to be more successful at a level. I have a feeling I could do the same with this one.

Overall the two games will eat up more of my break time at work.

It's hard to get StreetPasses even living in the city too (or at least Philadelphia). I really only ever get any StreetPasses at cons/gaming related events. And I forgot my 3DS the last two I went to. Womp womp.

I'm really interested in the fishing one but I hardly ever get street-pass hits where I live. If I actually lived IN Atlanta, I'd probably be set but I live about 2-hours away from the city so I'm lucky to get one hit per week. I may still get those games just for the Hell of it though...never know when I'll be hitting up a con after all...it's only been 2 years since my last one...

I don't street pass enough to reliably make use of them, so I'm not spending the money. :/
Prolly pretty neat games for people that pass plenty of people though.

Kinda wish they'd let you street pass over the internet more often, but I guess that'd kinda defeat the point, too.

So, it's been a few days now, so someone is bound to have gotten them, right?
