It looks.....improved. I still don't set high hopes for this one. We'll see if it's truly worth anything with time.
That did actually look better than the first. That's not hard however. I liked how the critic comments sort of hinted at that as well, like:
"Already looks worlds apart" (From the first one, this one's actually good)
and
"Players have one hell of a surprise in store" (This one is playable)
That said, the trailer didn't really impress me. Even from these clips, chosen because they look good (I assume), the combat looked kinda awkward. It looks decent, and maybe the story and role-play is phenomenal, in which case the combat takes a back-seat. But I'll reserve judgement until I try it.

Didn't Duke Nukem Forever have a big hardcore trailer at one point and then it turned out it wasn't in game footage but a video someone programmed together?
Yeah, since that came to light I've not trusted a single "preview" trailer. I'll wait for the game to hit and take a look at some of the reviewer-made videos. Gametrailers is often pretty good for getting a scope of gameplay with things like that.

We'll see. The first one was awful. I don't know how they even got the go ahead to make a sequel. But I won't be picking it up on release day, that's for sure.
Remember, with a trailer, the marketing department gets to pick the good bits out to make it look cool. Remember, Sonic 06 looked nice in the trailer.
Take care, because if you have zero expectations your not going to lose anything if it is bad, and you will proboly have more fun if it turns out to be good.
