I was looking at this game and it seemed interesting.

However, I heard people didn't really like it. Can anyone explain to me the reasons? Or if they liked it?

I usually don't agree with reviewers, as they didn't like Dark Messiah and I LOVED that game. Though, I want to know what you guys think of this game.

Imagine that Oblivion is a fine pint of beer. Two Worlds would be that same pint of beer, only watered down and spat in.

The game may have some of those lovable RPG elements we've come to expect from next-gen games, but the sheer stiffness and presentation of it all makes it unbearable to play. Don't get it, ever.

It's like a broken Oblivion.
With an incredibly bad framerate, uninspired characters, and a plot that was written on a coffee break.

So you guys don't think I should buy it?

I'm looking for a fantasy inspired game that's NOT Oblivion, and is for the X-Box 360. Can anyone suggest games?

Hell no.
Don't go near it.
It's like one of those strange men at the park who won't stop eyeing you, the kind your mom warned you about. Substitute the park for a game store, and you get my drift. Try Might and Magic.

It's really not nearly as bad as its reputation. Just nothing special, but I think Oblivion isn't, either.

Edit:

This description fits perfectly on the original Manhunt. Very nice in the beginning but turns out extremely horrific.

Fable II
I already have every achievement in that game.

I don't think there are any for the X-Box 360.

They remade Dark Messiah Might and Magic: Elements for the Xbox. It's pretty fun.

Dragonage will be out in a few months, so just be patient.

The reason I'm looking for a game is I just got every achievement in Dark Messiah. Besides the multi-player ones, though I DO have a couple of them.

Any more suggestions?

If you had your sight set on Two Worlds the the below is for you...

Cons:
-Frame-rate is bad. Really bad.
-Voice acting is horrid but can be entertaining at some points.
-Graphics aren't great nor the animations. Stiff animation.
-The story is not very good.
-The words are really hard--rather unreadable--with an SDTV(Standard Definition).

Pros:
-The world is very huge and actually very well done.
-The enemies level up with you. It adds a hint of realism. (You won't kill a tough ogre at level 1)
-The potion making is very good.
-Weapons of the same kind can be added together to make a stronger one.
-Weather changing.
-I actually liked the combat better than Oblivion's. It had dual wielding.

I'd say if you're willing to look past the cons; Two Worlds is well worth its price ($14.99).

Two Worlds wasn't all that bad - I managed to play it enough to get all the non-broken achievements.

Depending on the price, if you're looking for a cheap, easy, semi-fun weekend fun, go ahead and get Two Worlds.

However, if you want a slighlty deeper experience, for a longer time, try any of these.

Fallout 3
Fable II
Mass Effect
Tales of Vesperia
The Last Remenant
Lost Odessy
Infinite Undiscovery

You could also try Too Human, but you'd probably get more fun out of Two Worlds than TH.

On Two Worlds, the second one is coming out soon, and if it can actually deliver on even what the first one promised, it'd be a killer game. Fix the animations, the text and the glitches, and Two Worlds II could be a great game.

Fallout 3-- I have it.
Fable II-- I have it.
Mass Effect-- I have it.
Tales of Vesperia-- I have it.
The Last Remenant-- I've never heard of it. Can you tell me about it?
Lost Odessy-- Isn't that turn based?
Infinite Undiscovery-- Hmmmmm.. JRPG?

So, can you tell me about those last three?

While my time with Inifinte Undiscovery is nill, I do now that it is real-time, much like Tales of Vespira.

Lost Odessy is turn-based, but the writing and characters are great, and the combat is pretty decent too.

Last Remnant is a Sqaure Enix RPG. It is turn-based, but not in the "sit-back and watch way" if you're not right there with the controller at all times, you'll miss the opportunities for huge combos, criticals and special attacks. Further the story is interesting, the game IS B-E-A-UTIFUL, and its hard as hell too.

If you're desperate you could try Eternal Sonata and Enchanted Arms too....or Phantasy Star Universe.....
