So, let's break down some of the more popular titles available that may qualify as "murder simulators." Apparently, murder simulators:
1) Involve the use of power armor and rechargable shields and running around like an idiot while scoped in.
2) Think that everyone sprints around with a gigantic LMG and brings it up in seconds.
3) Assume that everyone can operate a tank or a helicopter.
4) Believe everyone has access to a dimension-warping sidekick.
5) Argue that everyone is going to hijack a car and ramp it off a building because it looks cool.

Well... I've always wanted to be good at Football. Ya know, so my dad will love me. I better go buy a copy of Madden. After that, I think I'll get good at what the rest of the world knows as Football by playing FIFA. Ooo, then I can become the ultimate Go-kart racer by playing Mario Kart! That haunted house down the street? Get me a vacuum cleaner and a flashlight, because I've been playing Luigi's Mansion, so I'm obviously already qualified to handle that kind of situation.
Time to drop out of college; all I need to do in life is play video games and I can accomplish ANYTHING!

its called a snow ball effect, also california and other states have proven that registries dont solve anything, and universal background checks already exist. it doesnt matter because the majority of street crime is done with people useing illegally obtained arms anyway. something around 65% of gang related shooters and suspects in inner cities have felonies on their record, and another good chunk are minors who want to be 'gangsta YO!1' and end up getting killed as well.Eldritch Warlord said:

If you took most of the kids that play violent video games and tried to teach them actual combat, I think you'd be surprised. It's one thing to become desensitized to depictions of violence in a game, but when it's your own blood, or your own body in pain, that's different. Real fighting is no joke.
I'd like to think that playing these games keeps some people from acting out in real life.
