...awful lot of hostile responses for something that's honestly pretty stock-standard for MMOs. Caught cheating/exploiting something? Get banned/rolled back. I imagine that's why there's the 'two strike' rule as well, so they can tell the difference between someone stumbling across something and someone doing it on purpose.
Like, It's an MMO. The rules of play are a different beast in an MMO. Shit like using Exploits that allow you to farm high-end Raid bosses or give you an advantage in PvP is... well, kinda dick moves and damn near always against the EULA. Blizzard's done much the same (even way back in Vanilla, banning guilds that used exploits to kill raid bosses, even C'thun), because it's usually stipulated that you're not going to be doing anything that takes advantages of problems in the code in the EULA.
We can cry foul and call Ubisoft shitty developers, but really, they're in the right on this (and that's not something I ever thought I'd say about Ubisoft, let me tell you). Intentionally breaking the rules of an MMO? You get punished for doing so. Do they need to fix these exploits? Well, yeah, of course, but that doesn't mean everyone taking advantage of 'em while they're still there are in the right.

...well that's not how licenses work. It's really hard to steal a license off someone. It's more a case of 'cheaters/exploiters breach the EULA and thus have their license revoked', which depending on how much legalese their EULA has, is totally something within their right to do (I haven't read their EULA, but 'revoked license due to exploiting software bugs' is usually a standard part).BloodRed Pixel said:as usualy ubi fucks up.
The only rightful way to deal with cheater is the way, I think Titanfall did it. Put them all on one Server,
see how much fun they have.
Comletely banning from playing is effectively stealing the license the player bought.
