Ontario Canada. Barely any snow left. So far this winter we've only had two big days of snowfall. Ridiculous that we don't have a meter of snow where I am like we did last year.
But I guess global warming is finally doing it's job. And Europe and Russia are taking the brunt of it's screwed up weather patterns.

How do you think we feel over here in Canada Root? Here in Saskatchewan it is normal, NAY, tradition for at least one blizzard in November to start winter. We didn't have decent snow until after Christmas and now it is melting again.The_root_of_all_evil said:

I don't really think it warrants a change in the months of one year to facilitate a few late snow falls. Unless it can be proven that this is the result of the seasons starting later due to problems with the earths rotation/orbit...

With me, (due to a slightly slanted pavement) my foot just pivoted out, took out the other one, and with both my feet off the ground, my head smashed right into a dry-stone wall. I have a phobia of slipping now. I'm careful as fuck when I have to go out on an icy day. Also, I've replaced my shoes, as the grip was worn to hell on the pair I fell in.omega 616 said:

I just hate that my country is so shit at dealing with it and not clearing it. For example I was told if it snows, you clear it and it snows again you are now responsible if anybody slips. Somebody could sue you if they slip on snow if you have previously cleared it ... how fucking stupid is that?
If everybody cleared there house "area" such as there drive and the bit in front of there house, there path if they have one, there would be no slips. Just leave fields and such with snow on for people to enjoy.
I also think when the weather forecasts snow or frost trucks should be sent out to salt/grit the roads, to prevent ice and not to melt it. If it's already on the ground it's too late, put it down before it piles up so it's safer.
