I know that one. :D

Glover is probably the most obscure game I've played. There was this one 'Bullet Hell' game I had that was pretty unknown too, but I can't remember the name.

A game for the Mac OS from 2000. It's called 'Ferazel's wand' and is not only obscure, it's on my 'best 5 games ever' list. Just look at this screen shot:

How can this not be cool!

I'm probably not the only one that knows of this game but I'm sure only about 10 people know of it.
Make that 11. I know of it but never got to play it. D:
Make that 12, It had talking monkeys, cyborg owls, hot nurses and hamster cannons. I can't wait 'til i get a working PS2 controller!

OT: Maken shao: demon sword.

I dont remember if it was any good or not but it doesn't matter to me, I got it for 20p at a school sale.

It was all about a sword that was alive or smoe weird sentient robot that turned into a sword I dunno... TO WIKIPEDIA!

Wiki says: "The game's story is based on Maken X, a genetic creation that can cure mental illnesses. This genetic device has its own mind, and can take control of a persons body through their weapons."

That's pretty much all that wikipedia says about it so i'm sure it's pretty damn obscure.

Alchemist. An old strategy game that, at the time, my PC couldn't handle. I remember lots of unusual factions to play, such as one being heavily populated by Vampires and Werewolves, necessitating hibernation at night, and one with a Witch that went around turning pumpkins and scarecrows to life instead of traditional building. Never known anyone to know of it.

Pretty much know all but one of the ones on the front page though, and own half of them. Go me, I have a collection of underrated games :)

Did anyone know about this game?
I did! small, young innocent me knew all about that game, I didn't know that playboy was a well-known brand and though it was just a game and actually asked my mum for it! :D

I knew about it from a demo disc i got and on the cover was a pictuer of Carmella decasare (i think that's how you spell it)

WARNING: Possibly TMI Ahead.

That picture, years later became the material used the first time i beat the meat, so I have a LOT to thank this game for.

Not many people know about Cho Aniki to my knowledge.

That is one weird game (I leave you to look that one up)
It's on PSN.

OP: Squish 'Em

Ahh, although in my defence, I don't have a PS3 and that was posted nearly a year ago. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!

OT: a new one then... I Have No Mouth and Must Scream? which is (was) also my one and only PC game. good times.

There was a very strange game that I got on a mail few years ago.
It was playstation 2 demo cd (I'd imagine about 2004 or something) and it was a racing type game I think.

I think the characters were people wearing robotic suits that had wheels which made them look like motorcycle when they were racing...

I'm curious to know what the title of that game was and this seems lime an appropriate thread

I love how I know at least 80% of these games and have played and really enjoyed at least 50% of those. This thread is so full of nostalgia. I used to read games magazines when I was younger and I bought a lot of ''demo CD-roms'' which existed back then. They were stuffed with demo versions of all sorts of games, both mainstream and underground/obscure as hell.
