I still have to see it. I've got it sitting on the shelf, but I've got other movies of higher priority.

I know it wasn't as popular as The Sixth Sense but I liked Unbreakable, I thought it was a near perfect "real world" superhero story. Very comic book, yet in a recognizably domestic suburban setting. Oh and I thought the end was idea.

I saw it and I really liked it. It was brought up in one of my high school English classes. I'm pretty sure we were doing "The Hero's Journey."

I enjoyed watching it. It was a nice spin on the "ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances" plot device that is lacking in the film industry on the whole. Typically heroes are larger-than-life-spent-years-training-came-back-from-impossible-odds archetypes, which isn't necessarily BAD, it's just nice to get a breath of fresh air now and again.

That's one of the things I liked about NGE, it's a normal kid who (aside from all of the character traits being taken to extremes and emphasized quite heavily) is given a monumental task to undertake, where millions of lives are riding on the outcome. What happens? He freaks out of course (The new movie series seems to be approaching it in a more restrained and paced manner, which is very enjoyable indeed).

Same thing in Unbreakable. It's one thing to be good at your job, but when Willis' character realizes how broad the repercussions are to admitting to himself that he's extraordinary, his character would probably give anything to give that responsibility away and let it be someone else's problem. Until of course he realizes that he actually can't nor does he want to be anything other than extraordinary.

TL:DR - Good movie.
