I just got a PS3 and purchased Uncharted 2 to go along with it. I have a couple questions that I hope you guys and girls could help me out with. (Sorry to end a sentence in a preposition). First of all, what kind of game is Uncharted 2 classified as? I've played for about an hour and haven't shot a gun yet. I'm at a stealth part where I have to take out like 8 guards, but it's so dark I couldn't see anything. So i turned the color all the way up on my TV and I was amazed at how awesome everything looked. Anyway, what is the best way to deal with stealth? What is the strategy to it? Thanks in advance!

Action, adventure, shooter

The best strategy for stealth is NOT TO BE SEEN

And this should be in the Gaming board.

Definitely an action-adventure game. Don't worry about the shooting, you'll get your fair share soon enough.
As for the stealth, just know where every enemy is, and just be methodical in taking them out. In the stealth mission in Turkey, the guards are all bright white, and most are absentmindedly resting against walls. In some sections, it isn't neccessary to take out everyone, so only take out those in your way. Always aproach a target from behind, or from cover, because if you aproach them head on, they will see you, or you will start punching them instead of doing the one hit kill stealth takedown.

That should help.

The first level is just a stealth mission where you only have a dart gun and have to either avoid the guards or take em out quiet. But after that level the rest of the game is all shooting and kill the bad guys. Not really any stealth parts after that even though its fun to be sneaky every once in a while.

the stealth part ends after the first chapter. i've almost got all the trophies, just need a couple of the harder ones left to get

that took you an hour? i got through the stealth part really quickly - and i was playing on hard. i don't know why the reviewers complained about it.

but OT: action, platforming, adventure, third person shooter?

and on my HD TV is looks pretty amazing - especially when you come to the train sections. drool.

Indeed it is, I found stealth in U2 extremely fun and very rewarding.

All you need to do is hide yourself, observe your enemies and hide behind cover while you learn their patrolling roster. After that, just take them out one by one with stealth take downs, and you're done.

Also, the graphics are indeed amazing, and don't worry about the shooty part, you'll get a fair share of gunslinging along the way.
