Uncharted 3 Gameplay

There was a short demonstration of uncharted's gameplay on Jimmy F. earlier tonight I don't know if most of you are interested. I i'm not sure if I can put the link cause it may count as advertising. But from what it seems, the melee combat has been improved but the shooting seemed a little off.

Is uncharted really as good as a lot of people say it is. I played through both but didn't think it was so great game wise. I very much enjoyed the story and loved how each character reacted to each other. But maybe that why people love it. i'm just confused by all the rants and raves and critisim from from people.

You'll find that mostly people love the game for the character's interactions yeah. You should be able to post the video. But if you're not sure, ask Kuliani.

For what its worth, I just can't get into Uncharted. Oh it plays great and looks like a trillion bucks, its just that I don't get all the hoopla revolving around the story and characters. Nathan Drake just comes across as a one dimensional smug prat who likes spewing annoying one liners while the other characters were just blatant adventure movie archetypes with no depth or complexity to them. The story on the other hand is a mixed bag. On one side, it tells a familiar story with a stylish and refreshing presentation, and on the other the plot is so uninspired and derivative you could pretty much rename the series to Romancing the Raiders of the Da Vinci Treasure.

I don't hate the Uncharted series and I'm definitely going to play number 3, I just don't care for it as much as most people do. Its okay at best.

Yeah, Thats how I think about it. But everyone is entitled to their opinion much like myself. I guess its all good as long as everyone enjoys the game

Unless you're one of those spam-bots I don't count shit as advertising - I count it as recommending stuff to a group of people that will be interested by it.

I'm not gonna go out and rant about how much I love Uncharted, but I can get why you wouldn't like it. Everyone has their blindspots, so to speak.
I just can't get into Starcraft, God of War or Mafia 2. I dunno what it is, I just don't like aspects of the games to such a degree that I can't get into it, no matter how many hours I invest.

I'm just sad that I won't be able to play it.
It's already looking pretty good.
But boy oh boy, November 2011 is going to be the biggest month ever for video games.
I'm not joking.
Uncharted 3 and Elder Scrolls 5 have been confirmed, there'll most likely be a new COD game, and I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft decide to push back Gears 3's release AGAIN, most likely into November.
